4. Placing an Order

4.1 Order process

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase goods. Your order is not accepted until we send you an Order Confirmation email.

4.2 Order confirmation

We will send you an email confirming receipt of your order. This is an acknowledgement of your order, not an acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch your goods and send a Dispatch Confirmation email.

4.3 Right to refuse orders

We reserve the right to decline any order, including where goods are out of stock, we are unable to verify payment, or we suspect fraudulent activity. If we decline your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund promptly.

4.4 Accuracy of information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided when placing an order — including delivery address and contact details — is accurate and complete. We cannot be held liable for orders that cannot be delivered due to inaccurate information provided by you.

5. Pricing & Payment

5.1 Prices

All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

5.2 Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept all major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment provider.

5.3 VAT

VAT invoices are available on request. Water softener salt is subject to the standard UK VAT rate.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 working day. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Standard Delivery: 2–4 working days

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed, particularly for remote postcodes or during peak periods. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, carrier disruptions, or public holidays.

Risk and ownership of goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your order on receipt and notify us promptly of any damage or discrepancies.

7. Cancellations

7.1 Your right to cancel (Distance Selling)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason, provided the goods are unused and in their original, unopened packaging.

7.2 How to cancel

To cancel an order, please contact us at vaigaiwatersalt@gmail.com or via our Contact Us page as soon as possible. If the order has already been dispatched, you will need to return the goods before a refund is issued.

7.3 Exceptions

The right to cancel does not apply to goods that have been opened or used, for hygiene or health and safety reasons.

8. Returns & Refunds

If you receive goods that are damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a collection or provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you, and offer either a full replacement or a refund.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of our receipt of the returned goods, using the original payment method. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms.

9. Subscriptions

Our Subscribe & Save service allows you to set up regular, recurring deliveries of salt tablets at a discounted rate.

  • Subscriptions begin on the date of your first successful order
  • Subsequent deliveries are processed automatically at your chosen frequency (every 4, 8 or 12 weeks)
  • You will be charged the subscription price in force at the time of each delivery
  • You may skip, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time via your account or by contacting us
  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the next scheduled dispatch to take effect for that order
  • We reserve the right to amend subscription pricing with 30 days' written notice to you

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total price paid by you for that order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, or for loss of profit, data, goodwill or business opportunity.

We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is owned by or licensed to Buybyon Ltd (T/A) Vaigai Water Saltand is protected by UK and international intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from our website without our prior written consent.
